What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The best comparison I can make is to a B-movie: the budget's lower, the acting's spotty and the plot has glaring holes...yet you (and the director) still have fun laughing with and at it, if you go into it knowing what to expect.
If like me you don't like puzzle elements but love action, this kills the replayability of the game.
I’m a big fan of the nice, clean art and fluid animations, and the sound design is decent aside from the weapons which sound like ghosts of actual firearms themselves.
The visuals, controls, and music are great.
Ghost 1.0 is a shooter at heart, giving you loads of guns and jumps and dashes and lays them all out intelligently on the gamepad so you can flip and roll and blast away.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
