It's a formula that works well and keeps you playing for longer than you mean to, with that "just a little more" feeling dragging you on to the next map, to complete the next quest, or to get enough silver to upgrade the next room.

If you've played Apocalypse Hotel then you'll be familiar with the gameplay of Moonstone Tavern as well: alternately manage and improve your tavern, and go out on adventures in search of loot and resources to use on the next round of tavern improvements.
The cancel sound (when pressing escape to close a menu) in particular is grating and too loud, but most of the other sound effects are okay.
It doesn't seem to be optimized the best since I'm also getting fairly poor framerate, but I'm fairly certain that has more to do with my system than the game itself.
