As of writing, the most recent "optimization update" was on September 27, 2016, but the game still runs between 30-45 FPS at best on a GTX 1080 and i7 6700k combo; for non-techies, that's extremely top-o-the-line gear.
The voice acting is pretty good in a B-Grade kinda way, and it's reminiscent of POSTAL.
