While it lost some of the more interesting features like the character classes from the DLC in Hand of Fate 1, it gained the adventure structure of the narrative and the companion mechanic which upgrades battles and offers a wider variety of strategy.
Endless mode ruins any love you may have for this gameplay system.
Much better than its predeccessor, but still repetive, especially due to the longer gameplay in endless mode, the music and sound design takes much of Hand of Fate 1 and adds to it.
The game is also very well made and optimized, with beautiful graphics, sound, and music.
