What players think
The recurring themes across 56 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Though I acknowledge the original game features similar simple gameplay, I think it was a major missed opportunity for not making the cooking and preparing a bit more complex so players can put in effort while navigating the story.
While I played and very much enjoyed the first game by the developer "Phở Anh Hai (Brother Hai's Pho Restaurant)", this game failed to re-capture the mundane yet charming gameplay and atmosphere that made its predecessor much beloved.
The graphics are good, music is catchy and the plot-twist is nice.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
