What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Very fun and challenging roguelike platformer with gameplay I'd say is something like Vagante + Spelunky but IMO has some major flaws later in that make it less enjoyable than it could be, here are some thoughts:
Years ago, my friend had installed his copy of Caveblazers (CB), so the two of us could try out the local coop.
Nothing too crazy to say about the visuals, the minimal retro pixel art style you see often.
The audio is appropriately chunky i.e. sword slashes, explosions, and spell effects have satisfying sound design.
The community on discord is also nice and able to connect you to other players to play with online
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
