If you have a natural bias against RPG maker or old school games you'll most likely not enough this game at all... (but hey it's cheap and has cards so maybe even you can find a use for it.) For those who appreciate a well told story (albeit with some spelling and grammar issues) you'll do well to pick this up.

After nearly an hour of game play I have to say real-time combat had me more immersed in the game, it felt more interactive, rather than just snoozing through battles pressing the attack button, I was more apt to pay attention during combat, and the combat had an air of difficulty other games made with the same engine don't have.
