The characters are very well-written (whether intentionally played up for laughs because of Japan or not), with the Overlords having influences from demons in Western religion. (7 deadly sins... plus a few extra taken for liberty to get more characters) The Overlords hold Crests representing the Sin they appear to embody at first impression.

The soundtrack is very Tenpei Sato (it's pretty awesome), although it seemed to repeat the same 3 or so tracks over and over again for 90% of the interact scenes.
