It shows an incredible growth from their previous game in terms of quality, visuals, level design and characters, with a lot of care put in the balancing of the game so there won't be any powercreep for the forseeable future.
I'm also a gacha veteran, from way before they went mainstream with Genshit, so i know how these games work and the greed of many of these studios perfectly well.

NTE is powered by Unreal Engine 5, is a PC first AAA gacha and is extremely well optimized, this allows for absurd visuals, extremely high quality textures and materials, and full path tracing.
The soundtrack deserves a mention too for sure, there are plenty of places where the music is incredibly relaxing and fits the atmosphere perfectly..
