What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
- great graphics since teaser 1.0 - polished and more brutal than ever.
The controls and gameplay feel superb whether you're using a mouse or an Xbox controller.
The graphics are beautiful and the frame rate never drops below 60fps at 1080p (albeit on at GTX980) and are exactly what I would want from a modern 6DoF shooter.
The writer of FreeSpace 2 has written the story for this game, which is great.
- responsive controls, easy to drive, and reliable, joystick or keyboard and mouse, or even x360 controller all are perfect
I am not the best Descent player out there, but I have the best time playing Descent and playing Descent multiplayer.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
