What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Attack of Titan : Wings of Freedom is honestly a decent product for what ultimately amounts to a licensed game, and especially from the perspective of a fan of the anime, taking direct control of your favourite characters and murdering a bunch of giant creepy humanoids can be incredibly satisfying, but after about 25 hours of play across two weeks, I've come to the conclusion the game is ultimately a mixed bag.
Generally speaking the gameplay is solid.
BEFORE BUYING THIS GAME, TAKE NOTE THAT THIS GAME WORKS BEST WITH A CONTROLLER.
Graphically the game is perfectly serviceable, especially given the anime cel-shaded art style.
+ Great music soundtrack and voice acting
I've finished the main story mode and entered the Epilogue Chapter at this point and played about 2 - 3 hours of Multiplayer.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
