Void Raiders is a hectic science-fiction twin-stick shooter with rogue-like elements and great pixel graphics.

From the "Lone Invader Tavern" that makes up the sparse main menu, through the handful of different level styles, character and enemy graphics are solid quality and well animated, while levels are made up of interesting objects, albeit laid out in only a limited number of ways.

Sound effects are mostly good, with a few different gun sounds and suitably booming explosions.

For players who enjoy bullet-heavy combat, permanent character growth, and the satisfaction of slowly conquering an unforgiving system, Void Raiders offers a gritty and rewarding experience that grows stronger the more time you invest in it.

As upgrades accumulate and familiarity grows, the difficulty curve becomes more manageable, transforming frustration into a sense of earned competence.
