I found the repetition of the scheduling and confession mixed with the story an enjoyable loop, all working towards getting these nuns to get on their knees for a different purpose.
I don't think it's either, it's just been my experience that a lot of these types of games (Adult Visual Novel type games) usually don't tend to bother putting a lot of effort or substance in their gameplay, banking on the fact that some people will buy them regardless, just because they got naked chick's and sex in em.
The art style is good, the management is well thought out, and also the atmosphere is right.
