I just love it when game developers can make a world feel ever-evolving while still allowing a way in the late game for you to complete side quests you picked up in the first 15 minutes.
I found this method of exploration + progression to be the best.
overall this game gets a thumbs up. to set expectations, the best thing about the game is its art style and soundtrak. combat also shines, but even that is not perfect, and by the end i avoided all but unique boss fights whenever possble, normal encounters too grindy. the funny, lighthearted tone of the characters makes fun of what is otherwise a very unoriginal and formulaic overarching plotline. the exploration can sometimes take you to cool settings but more often than not you spend 40-50% of thegame wandering around to find the place that triggers next quest - the worst and most trivial part of the game. for me it is a 7/10 game, was good fun or steam deck and worth my 20 hours but not one id write home bout either. which is tough to say since i know its indie nd lot of heart wnt into it
-The soundtrack was beautifully composed, and was almost always much better than the 'filler' music that so many other games just throw in.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
