It's basically a hunt & craft weapon as you progress the story game.
I can say that the gameplay is decent enough to be called a positive but only playing in solo, going into co-op just adds a ton of bugs which shouldn't even be there.
It's highly advied to play co-op.
Smooth 60fps, full controller support and keyboard rebindings, and variety of options to tweak with, the port is nearly flawless.
