What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
CONCLUSION - This playful, quirky rogue-lite is scratching that "Nuclear Throne" and/or "Binding Of Isaac"-itch delivering challenging gameplay in a charming universe.
The game manages to combine all of its genres flawlessly with fluid and pleasant movement mechanics with a unique art style being the top of the cherry here.
AESTHETIC - The playful, minimalistic artstyle and animation along with the funky, mysterious soundtrack adds up to a really cool atmosphere, and the curious creatures/enemies you encounter are often charming and interesting.
+ Lovely animations for enemies as well as the characters; cute but also evil
It worked great on DS4 controller with DS4Windows and no idea about keyboard though.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
