Had a friend personally ask the developers whether or not there would be a progression wipe and he was told there wouldn't be and that the FAQ was outdated, and now after spending 26 hours they decided to go back on what they said saying there will 100% be a wipe which has killed all motivation to continue playing.
Not going to write war and peace about it but the graphics are like a much prettier spacebound and stardew valley baby.
