I still highly appreciate the quality of the graphics and the variety of music in Onion Force, but after beating the game I’ve found the story to be rather lacking.

The story is little more than an excuse to fight through the boss map to reach another change of scenery, but there is always a bit of quirky dialogue about the different enemies you encounter and locations you explore to keep you interested, which is definitely a plus.
