What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I enjoyed the combat mechanics to a degree and loved the idea of retaining troops and a hero after each map.
Given the large number of playable races and character customization options, the game offers substantial replayability even after the main storyline has been completed.
The main campaign mode is made more interesting this time around too with a dedicated storyline accompanying your conquests across the land of Etheria and a developing narrative that explores your hero's effort to seal away Gorgon; the feared fifth horseman of ancient legend.
You already had enough health, you could over-compensate in combat with ferocity and a point of dexterity will you give much, much more: armor, resistance, attack speed and movement speed.
The game itself has plenty of personality, fun sound effects and satisfying feeling of being able to primarily focus on your army.
