Hearth and Hamlet

The result is a comfortable progression-focused experience where a tiny frontier encampment can gradually become an elaborate fantasy kingdom.

Even then, the highest difficulty was challenging in the first two thirds and felt rewarding to coast through in the final stretch.

The storyline and the quests are rather cute too and give you a nice sense of progression, the systems getting more complex with time is very fun too, and the battle system too is simplistic, but for the sake of this game it works just fine.

I was initially drawn to the pixel art style the game presented, it looks like a painting that is subtly alive & with your building of establishments, more gets added to the portrait.

I suggest this game if you like idles, it's good fun and absolutely adorable in style, has nice music and sound design, as well as cute ideas all around that are applied quite well usually.
