Yet beneath that straightforward premise lies a satisfying loop of destruction, experimentation, and steady progression that keeps each run engaging.

Although it becomes obvious after a few games that there is an optimal way to play and sub-optimal ways to play, Neon Chrome is great entertainment due to its destructible terrain, its gratuitous blood splatter and large variety of weapons handed to you during the course of the game.

really fun and engaging top-down...just enough roguelite elements to keep it interesting, just enough difficulty to keep you on your toes, just enough progression to make you want to play more, just enough variety in the combat to make you want to try everything

With about 5 different classes (they alternate your selection between runs) and quite an immersive soundtrack, this is what makes Neon Chrome a damn good game, definitely a gem and it deserves more coverage

It doesn't matter whether you're using a Desktop with a fancy graphics card or just your notebook from 2018 you'll be able to run this game smooth and pretty too!
