And a "clean screen" user interface without all the modern-era "helpfull" immersion-brakers like "terrain-cover-shields and move-range-lines neon marking" (like in the beloved modern-Chaos-Gate and modern-X-Com), providing a nice old-school gameplay alternative.
At the same time, that’s also where the replayability comes from.
