I do admit it's a bit story heavy (would've been better to play the plane battle rather than watch in the beginning since the 1st dungeon is about an hour into the game), but it's definitely worth a try.
Excellent gameplay.
On the plus side, the voice acting is rather solid.
The dungeon design is pretty fun for what it's worth, and the graphics are pleasant
I played for a few minutes with mouse + keyboard, but wasn't really feelin' it, so I switched to a Steam controller, and that mostly worked very well.
Furthermore, since food is valuable, I often found my self entering the pause menu to carefully consider each time I had to heal, which is yet another design element that kills game flow.
