Mastering Frank's moveset can be difficult, but the gradual progression of becoming ready to face zombie hordes is one of the most satisfying personal empowerments I’ve experienced in a game.

The good old stuff that this port brings along with it are some of the clunky mechanics, occasional bad AI, constant race against time, character progression, amazing soundtrack, FANTASTIC bosses(psychopaths) and interesting story with multiple endings.

You'll end up finding your favorite weapon soon enough, but if you absolutely have to, its nice to be able to just improvise weapons you find lying around.

Dead Rising can be difficult and unforgiving, but learning to master its mall playground becomes an incredibly satisfying venture.

The voice acting, while campy, fits perfectly with the game’s B-movie aesthetic, and the blend of melodrama and dark comedy makes even its most over-the-top moments feel strangely believable within its world.

The port is extremely well executed, it offers surprisingly smooth keyboard and mouse experience and of course controller support along with customizable keyboard binds and graphics options.
