Call of Duty®: Black Ops

This is probably the only the game in the series where you're more inclined to start the campaign before even thinking about hopping into the multiplayer or the zombies as it perfectly sets the tone for the story.

It was competitive but also playful, the kind of multiplayer that encouraged experimentation and long nights with friends rather than pure optimization.

In my opinion, the best overall zombies experience in the series as there isn’t a single bad map, although Black Ops 3 still has the best gameplay.

Hitting a flow state deep into a Zombies match, blasting 115 while listening to the orgasmic pew pew pew of Pack a Punched weapons, is an experience that still sinks its teeth into me.

While the graphics have aged, they’re still decent enough to support the game’s tone and atmosphere.

The maps, atmosphere, and sheer chaos make it one of the best co-op experiences ever created.
