Combined with challenging modes on Impossible difficulty, it creates a really fun experience that rewards players for coming back, replaying levels, and trying new modes.
I focused a lot on gameplay, but I've nothing to say about game design, easter eggs and history : it was really fun and enjoyable.
The Heroes are great, and they're a good mix of new and returning heroes.
There are more comics for the story sequences and the animation quality gets even better in every new game.
The visuals are good, the levels feel dynamic and the mode with classic towers is a great idea, I wonder if in the mini campaigns/DLC we'll be able to use the classic towers from Frontiers and Origins too
This might sound like a weird thing to put at the top, but the sound design is incredibly compelling.
