What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There wasn't an instance in combat that I felt the deaths were unfair, they all felt like I just had a skill issue.
Exploration was an absolute treat, as it should be for a Castlevania title.
She's naive and cocky at the start, gets taken down a peg at the end of the first act, and grows into a wonderful character by the end (especially if you do the true ending).
difficulty complaints are a joke. the game has extensive difficulty settings: you can customize everything from damage received to damage dealt to respawning right in front of a boss to retry the fight. either adapt to the game or customize it to your skill/liking, no one cares. it's that simple.
The art and voice acting are great, the music is catchy and the gameplay is fun.
Thankfully, my worries were for nothing because the art style is BEAUTIFUL!
