What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The writing for this silly type of premise was far better then I expected, while funny of course, there were moments that you could read subtext into and form a bit of story of a few non-gun characters.
But no, the FPS gameplay itself was surprisingly well made and a lot of fun too!
AND I HAVEN'T EVEN TALKED ABOUT THE AMAZING DESIGNS AND THE DETAILS SCATTERED THROUGHOUT AND INCREDIBLY TALENTED VOICE ACTING AND HOW GENUINELY FUNNY AND FUN IT IS JUST TO EXPLORE AND PLAY FOR TECHNICAL REASONS I CAN'T ARTICULATE-
The basic FPS sections were serviceable and looking for all the little secrets, almost like a prop hunt game, was fun time.
I went into this hoping for great humour with tolerable gunplay segments between the comedy, fully tempering my expectations as the game is free and already hitting so hard on the writing...
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
