What players think
The recurring themes across 232 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
is an enjoyable game with an interesting prospect: to see what happens when the heroes lose, and how the "background characters", or "NPCs", live through it.
Gameplay: there are clear efforts made in order to offer an interesting and challenging gameplay, by letting you adjust difficulty for yourself by calling or not the heroes to assist you, and by giving key encounters puzzly twists.
Because MV is new (at the time the game came out) the graphics, sound, music, etc, are fresh and the dev put a lot of effort into making it professional.
The soundtrack complements the adventure well, shifting naturally between playful melodies during comedic scenes and more dramatic compositions when the stakes become serious.
Controller support, Steam achievements, trading cards, and additional content for aspiring RPG creators further round out a feature set that offers more value than its modest appearance initially suggests.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and is not shown.
