What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The background are interesting enough and varied, but nothing about any of the characters seems to fit in with the world they built.
All in all, the game is sure to please those who like old fashioned beat-em-ups, but with the added benefit of updated visuals and sound.
It definitely plays like a mix of the earlier three games of Streets of Rage's gameplay styles but with the addition of firearms with limited ammo (these can give you a breather or set up some nasty long range juggles!).
The soundtrack deserves special mention since it's really good.
The negatives, no 3 player mulitplayer, no online servers, only remote play. only 1 repeating continue, why can't those give you more or unlimted credits.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
