What players think
The recurring themes across 120 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I'm glad theyve prioritized gameplay and balance over this.
I have to say that I am beyond delighted that someone somewhere took on the mission to recreate the original before it got all P2P and P2W, and for free to boot - I salute that without any qualm.
even with low player count the lobbies do a great job of feeling full, through matching players together and having functional, challenging bots. the longest I've waited to get in a game was like 8 seconds and that was at 3am. the combat, destruction system, and creative freedom of building are all awesome.
There are some things that I feel could be better, like the physics (quite floaty), sound effects (lasers don't go pew-pew!), UX design(some things need to be more obvious), making prefabs more universally shareable, and the like.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
