But compared to the prequel, the improved graphics, BGM, and streamlined design that cuts out unnecessary elements make it much easier to immerse yourself in the puzzles

What makes this progression particularly satisfying is how naturally each mechanic is integrated.

Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
The soundtrack is minimalist — the kind of soothing music you can leave on in the background for hours without it ever getting in the way of your thinking.

I also wish there were some environmental puzzles--or even better meta puzzles--to make the archipelago where you find the puzzles more interesting to explore, as it is the archipelago is just a menu select and a drain on your laptop's resources.

Steam Deck
Players who bring up Steam Deck mostly praise it.
On my steam deck, running at high on 60 fps made the machine blast like a jet engine, so I bumped the fps to 30 without lose considering you're staring at a flat grid most of the time anyway.

Controls
Players who bring up Controls mostly praise it.
I would love to see a comfortable gamepad setup for the game, but sadly gamepad feels worse than nothing as it just moves the mouse cursor (the same issue goes for steam deck. unless you're a pro with the track pad stuff or have the patience to make the perfect alternative control scheme I wouldn't recommend it if that was your only platform)
