The graphics of the game seem to fit the chess sort of feel to the game, being sort of older looking to the game.
I chose to come back and play this game a bit today, and there have been some significant amount of UI-friendly and (positive) gameplay changes.
The graphics feature a nice pixelated retro style, the music is good in retro regards too and the sound effects are suiting.
