What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Story wise there's nothing here, like it tries to be tongue and cheek in regards to it being a Poppy Playtime clone but doesn't do enough to actually subvert anything and it comes out the same.
The animations are spectacular, the level design and visuals are superb, the sense of dread and tension builds well, the puzzles are enjoyable and not overly complex, and the chase sequences are frantic and fun, even if they feel like guesswork with some fairly poor and inconsistent telegraphing (it's either hard to tell where to run next, or there's literally red footprints on the ground showing you where to go...)
The music and sound design is so good, it sent shivers.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
