What players think
The recurring themes across 160 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Especially when all you’re really doing is going through suspiciously low-poly textures (which, in my opinion, feel like at least half of them are AI) even if they fit nicely in the dreamcore aesthetic.
I can understand the AI voice acting, seeing as this game is/was a solo dev project and that does limit options for that sort of thing, and I genuinely do think that I would have enjoyed this game and it's experience if it were actually playable.
Obviosuly, it is very important to keep the balance between a game that looks good only because of the engine and one that feels authentic in both its atmosphere and its gameplay.
To be fair, the optimization is a bit lacking even on medium settings, but I think that’s forgivable for a developer like this
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
