Multiplayer works well, you gotta do some of the tutorial before you can play with friends, the multiplayer settings for host should be under multiplayer instead of session info.

Feels challenging even on the easy difficulty setting, but the tutorial is very thorough without being too long, which helps a lot for someone like me, who hasn't really played survival games in the past.
