The mysteries got more convoluted and complex (to the point of bordering absurdity tbh), with the plot feeling more profound, especially when reaching the end.

in comparison to the first game you get improved mechanics and systems, more minigames and a remaster of the main ost along with some nice new songs. thats all i saw improve with this game.

Additionally, I enjoyed the visuals, particularly of the backgrounds/setting and character designs, also the soundtrack is incredibly catchy once again.

daily life is slightly more engaging in this game. there is a clear sense of progression in the time you spend with each character through hope fragments, which made the system reminiscent to persona's social links. there is also the addition of the pet/xp system, which are definitely worth keeping your eye on throughout your playthrough if you want to 100% this game...

I dont really care for the majority of characters here besides a few and that ruined it a bit, BUT the visuals, story and the murders got more complex and insane which is appreciated, a good sequel to the first one overall.
