The core gameplay is very similar though expanded from the first game, the graphics are better overall, and I think my favorite feature is being able to unlock anything in the collection if it's too difficult to unlock (or you think it'd be cool).

The main part of the game is the weapons, which are DNA letters where you can mix them for 60+ variations and basically infinite build variety.

I'm far from having unlocked everything yet, but the most astounding thing about this game is not even the balance or the visuals or the gameplay, but the sheer amount of diverse options in the form of multiple game modes.

outstanding improvements over the first game, good vibes yet spooky at times, fun and engaging variants and upgrades with a robust progression feeling, still feels very gamebreak-y if you do it right but doesn't feel too easy to achieve which helps keep runs feeling fresh.
