Thankfully, Bullet Heaven 2 cuts out the bits that held the original game back and tightens its gameplay to a laser-focused point.
The art style is amazing (and sometimes adorable).
Regardless of whether or not you have any IRL friends, you can control the game with the mouse, the keyboard or a dedicated game controller.
You can even grab a friend and play local co-op with up to four people, but those aren't something I have a whole lot of so I'm going to assume that feature's really good, too.
