The run-and-rang gameplay loop is simple but fun, collectibles are interesting to find, and there's even a vehicle segment.

The art style reflects on this and I definitely think Ty the Tasmanian Tiger (aside for the not so good cutscene animations) is a decent looking game for it's time, plus the soundtrack using a lot of instrumentation.

I never played this game though since I never managed to get my hands on it when I was young but I played the second game Bush Rescue religiously and even then this game managed to make me feel super nostalgic with the Australian themed soundtrack, the sound effects I recognized from Bush Rescue and to just see Ty on my screen once again.
