Gameplay
Players who bring up Gameplay mostly praise it.
86 of 283 sampled reviews raised it
Its premise initially sounds like a novelty, but the game gives that idea enough progression and customization to make experimentation the central attraction rather than relying entirely on the humor of watching spinning blades collide.
Graphics
Players who bring up Graphics mostly praise it.
18 of 283 sampled reviews raised it
The pixel graphics are really well done, the lighting gives the world quite a lot of depth and the colours are well balanced between visually pleasing without losing the gritty, almost dystopian aesthetics this game is going for.
Combat
Players who bring up Combat mostly praise it.
10 of 283 sampled reviews raised it
The movement and combat itself feels pretty good as a base, and I do think refining the game more would give for a fantastic little experience to pop open from time to time.
Multiplayer
Players who bring up Multiplayer mostly praise it.
9 of 283 sampled reviews raised it
I'd happily buy a dlc for this or even a spin-off multiplayer pvp, or an rpg.
Audio
Players who bring up Audio mostly praise it.
9 of 283 sampled reviews raised it
The soundtrack reinforces the same period-inspired personality, helping the exploration sections maintain energy even when players are simply traveling toward another encounter or shopping opportunity.
