Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter

The new weapons feel great: a melee chainsaw you might actually use in combat or when clearing the landscape, a flamethrower that hits multiple enemies and leaves them burning, and the infamous Serious Bomb for when you just need everything to die.

Other new additions include three temporary gameplay modifiers: the speed boost is great for traversal and evasion, an excellent damage boost motivates you to find more enemies in the time limit.

From the details on your gun to the environments themselves, the graphics shine.

starting off this game right after the first encounter, taking a couple of minutes to sort out the settings, direct3D works best as usual, and on serious difficulty as usual

With this installment players don't even need to trek through the first Serious Sam in order to enjoy it, as the story is better explained at the beginning than it ever was during the entire first game.

Multiplayer is nice and solid, and there are standard player modes like Deathmatch, and Co-Op mode!
