The fantasy setting is charming, the visuals are colorful, and the idea of running a magical merchant shop has a lot of potential.
Restocking shelves, counting inventory, cleaning floors, book-smacking thieves, chasing away that smelly gryphon who never seems to buy anything, and generally trying to keep the shop running efficiently created a surprisingly enjoyable gameplay loop.
Progression takes a long time to open up, and I found myself playing the minigame more than the actual shop loop because it made money faster.
