What players think
The recurring themes across 247 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The plot takes some inspiration from Frictional Games's Penumbra series for storytelling and the Amnesia series for its settings and atmosphere, and both of them are done in a good way.
The graphics are beautiful to look at and the game makes excellent use of lighting and shadows to create a truly atmospheric feel.
Gameplay revolves around simply exploring and solving a few simple puzzles to escape so you can get to the next area.
Excellent sound design, atmosphere
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 5 more themes were each raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and are not shown.
