MOLE

There weren't any real exposition dumps, and the environmental storytelling was clear enough to give a basic understanding of what was going on, while being vague enough to still let you piece together the rest of the story and theorize for yourself.

That being said, the gameplay is enjoyable, but is probably the weakest aspect of the game.

Lighting and sound design are also excellent, with a lot of dread-inducing atmosphere.

The sound effects of pipes dripping or engines clanking really adds to the atmosphere of the game, and any time there's an enemy nearby, their footsteps and cries are always gutwrenching.

There are some chase sequences in MOLE, but they are never too difficult and manage to be tense and exciting without overstaying their welcome, and the long periods of downtime between where you're solving puzzles or exploring the ship make the level of tension completely manageable (unless you have a serious heart condition).
