What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Online multiplayer is functional, with asynchronous play allowing users to take turns over hours or days, which suits the game’s slow-burn pacing.
Lots of replayability, and is super well balanced with history (strong Soviets in the early game, strong US in the later).
The digital adaptation is faithful to the original board game, offering an interface that does a commendable job of organizing the complex information without overwhelming the player.
-Great OST and the atmospheric excerpts from political speeches really adds to immersion and doesn't feel intrusive even after playing for a while (I only have a few hours on Steam as I play mobile too)
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
