What players think
The recurring themes across 51 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The soundtrack also complements the gameplay extremely well.
The music sounds fantastic and really fits in with the fast-paced and chaotic gameplay, but it was kind of disappointing in that it didn't really fit with the whole 16-bit aesthetic, so instead of sounding like a midi from a Sound Blaster or anything that would have come out of a 16-bit system, it sounds like modern electronic music (which it is).
However the Boss Rush mode is a fun addition to the game, for those who complete the campaign.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
