The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
They've pretty much replaced everything that made Total Annihilation and later on Sup Com a unique experience with boring run of the mill gameplay.
I found this game to be a little better than Supreme Commander 1 and Forged Alliance in terms of gameplay, graphics, and story but after a while, it starts to feel repetitive.
The pvp might be a little better but lets be honest, it's 2025, if you're picking up an RTS for the first time, you won't be doing PVP, and if you're a long-time fan of RTS, you've either already played this game, or know what to expect on that front otherwise.
Combat: This is actually the best part about the game.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 6 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
