This, the open map design, subtle mechanics like gun jamming / manual reload / pumping your shotgun, and the retro-inspired but very pretty graphics, all come together to make a super immersive experience.

As for the positives, I would say that the the actual gunplay is quite good.

I look forward to more from this dev, and there's still room for improvements in their future games, for instance I'd love to see a bit more expansion on the story and for the inventory management to have a little more impact to increase the feeling of tension even further.

Atmosphere of the game is excellent - a subdued soundtrack compliments the games soundscape and level design, which evokes a good sense of dread throughout, with some particularly excellent areas.

To put simply, if you like inventory management, I think this game does it well.

There are also a few puzzles, which strike a good balance in difficulty—neither frustratingly hard nor overly simple.
