In general, 9/10 game and impressive depth of humor, innovative gameplay, and being just hard enough puzzle-wise that I HAD to beat the next test chamber.

The dialogue that GLaDOS shares with the player is fun and the foreshadowing at times is incredible.

The chambers themselves offer a balanced difficulty, with the game requiring the player to think outside the box without losing their mind.

Only micro stutters when loading a new level, but otherwise high graphics with a super smooth 144 FPS.

the soundtrack also deserves more credit for this feeling. most of the game is nearly silent. you hear mechanical hums, distant machinery, the echo of your own footsteps. music only appears in fragments, and because of that, every sound matters. the emptiness becomes part of the storytelling. silence in portal is not absence—it’s architecture.

KB+Mouse with Raw Input + Mouse Acceleration did it for me, as well as my sort of unusual layout, as someone who doesn't play FPS (Interact/Pick-Item on MOUSE3, Crouch on Space, Jump on Shift), and it FELT GOOD to play, the game makes you "get into a zone" so much that I immediately started it again after beating it for the first time.
